Resources & Notices

This report provides a comprehensive review of the safety of dry ice cleaning machines from the perspectives of surface temperature changes, thermal effects at different depths, thermal stress calculations, mold and coating damage tests, and worker safety management.

Surface temperature reduction is limited even under 5-minute intensive spray conditions, and no damage to the base material was confirmed in actual test results.

Furthermore, dry ice sublimates after impact, which can reduce abrasive residue and secondary waste.

However, prior to mass production application, pressure, distance, particle size, and residence time must be determined through Proof of Concept (PoC) for each material, coating, and shape, and ventilation and protective equipment standards must also be managed.

This report can be used for customer explanations and internal approval documentation.
